Rev. Dr. John Reynolds

Trinity Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod recently celebrated the installation of its new pastor, the Reverend Doctor John Reynolds. Pastor Reynolds becomes the 13th installed pastor in Trinity’s 78 year history.
Pastor Reynolds and his wife Valerie have relocated from Ft Wayne, IN, where Pastor Reynolds served as Assistant Professor and Director of Vicarage at Concordia Theological Seminary. Prior to his time teaching at Concordia, Pastor Reynolds served congregations in New Jersey and Georgia and is a former US Air Force officer. He and his wife have two children, Brian, Ft Wayne, IN and Amanda, Marietta, GA.
“We are pleased and thrilled that Pastor John and Valerie have chosen Trinity and Gadsden as their new home”, said Dave Tumlin, church council president.
Mary Baldwin, Minister of Music, Organist
Our music program is conducted under the ministry of Mary Baldwin who directs our adult and children choirs. An accomplished musician, Mary serves her church in retirement from Jacksonville State University and Etowah County and from the Georgia Department of Education where experiences over the span of her career included teaching, administration, and school improvement. Mary is also our Church Organist and plays for all our worship services.

Valerie chairs our Events Committee and helps to plan fellowship events for our congregation.
